Sealing
Stone / Floors / Counters

1. Why Should I Have My Stone
Sealed?
Stone by nature is somewhat or even very porous and
unless it is sealed, will continue to absorb water, oil
and dirt. Sealing of the stone will make maintenance
easy by protecting the material from absorbing water and
oil based stains and ensure years of beauty, if
maintained properly.
2. What Do I Use To Clean My Stone?
Mild Cleaners are bestCleaners that contain acid, strong
alkali or bleach should never be used for regular
maintenance. Any type of acidic cleaner even a light
solution of vinegar and water will etch and damage the
stone when used for a prolonged period of time.
Continued use of acidic cleaners will also break down
the grout in floor installations.
3. What Cleaner Do You Recommend To Clean My
Stone?
A neutral cleaner is recommended for daily use. Revitalizer
cleaner is a concentrated non-acidic cleaner. It is completely safe for every day
use and when used on a regular basis will preserve the
beautiful look of the floor. Revitalizer can be used on
glazed and unglazed tile, natural stone, porcelain tile,
and sealed Mexican tile as well. One capful is added to
a gallon of water. It is important to use a clean towel
or mop to clean the floor otherwise dirt is pushed into
the grout and you will get dirt build-up on top of the
stain.

Floors /
Counters Cleaned & Sealed |
| If
you have stone floors/counters then no doubt
they are special to you and you want to
maintain them. |
| We
recommend sealing granite,
travertine, etc. when the installation is
new as this will prevent staining. |
| For
maintenance we recommend pre-cleaning,
drying, then applying a specially formulated
stone sealer of the best quality. If you do
this every two years and avoid
serious abrasion and scratches, no other
professional maintenance should be required. |
